About the job Senior Cloud Engineer – Enterprise Cloud Delivery Specialist Senior Cloud Engineer – Enterprise Cloud Delivery Specialist Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia (On-site, Full-Time) Language: Arabic (Preferred) Engagement: Large-Scale Enterprise Digital Transformation Programme About the Role We are seeking a highly skilled and hands-on Senior Cloud Engineer to support a major enterprise digital transformation initiative in Riyadh. This role is ideal for an engineer who thrives in building, securing, and operating cloud environments across multi-cloud and hybrid infrastructures. You will play a critical role in designing and deploying cloud platforms that support mission-critical systems, ensuring performance, security, and scalability at enterprise scale. Key Responsibilities Cloud Deployment & Engineering Design and deploy secure, scalable cloud infrastructure across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP Build and configure cloud environments from the ground up (greenfield and existing environments) Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or similar Ensure environments are optimized for performance, resilience, and cost efficiency Operations & Monitoring Monitor system performance and ensure adherence to SLAs and KPIs Manage day-to-day cloud operations, including incident response and issue resolution Implement and maintain logging, monitoring, and alerting solutions (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana) Continuously optimize cloud environments for reliability and efficiency Security & Governance Configure identity and access management (IAM), policies, and security controls Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and governance frameworks Collaborate with cybersecurity teams to mitigate risks and strengthen cloud posture Integration & Hybrid Environments Support integration between on-premise infrastructure and cloud platforms Work across hybrid and multi-cloud architectures Ensure seamless connectivity, data flow, and system interoperability Collaboration & Delivery Work closely with Cloud Architects, DevOps, and application teams Support delivery across multiple cloud initiatives and transformation projects Contribute to best practices, standards, and continuous improvement efforts Candidate Profile Required Experience 5–10 years of experience in Cloud Engineering, Infrastructure, or related roles Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform Experience working in hybrid environments (cloud on-premise) Strong understanding of networking, cloud architecture, and security principles Experience with monitoring and observability tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Grafana) Practical experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, ARM templates, or similar) Preferred Qualifications Arabic language capability (preferred for stakeholder collaboration) Experience in large enterprise or government environments Cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP) Exposure to DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automation What We’re Looking For Hands-on, delivery-focused engineer with a practical mindset Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities Ability to perform in high-pressure, enterprise-scale environments Collaborative team player with strong communication skills Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary aligned with market benchmarks Full relocation support (where applicable) Opportunity to work on high-impact, enterprise transformation programs Exposure to modern cloud technologies and large-scale environments
